Regional Vice President, Operations - Senior Living
Civitas Senior Living is actively seeking a seasoned Regional Vice President of Operations (RVPO) to join our dedicated team in Dallas‑Fort Worth, Texas or East Texas region. This pivotal role, recently opened due to the promotion of a team member, is instrumental in steering the operations of our senior living communities across a multi‑state region toward excellence in care, thriving employee relations, financial growth, and enhanced resident satisfaction. The position requires extensive travel across the assigned communities.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Culture Development: Guide, mentor, and inspire the community management teams, fostering a culture of professionalism, positivity, and high‑quality senior care. Conduct regular performance evaluations to promote personal and professional growth.
Strategic Financial Management: Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective collaboration on budget management, cost‑control measures, and innovative financial strategies. Champion the execution of cost‑saving initiatives to surpass financial objectives.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements, staying informed of legislative changes. Lead efforts in educating staff on compliance standards and quality care protocols.
Operational Excellence: Oversee community operations to achieve or surpass key performance indicators in resident care, occupancy rates, and financial health. Provide strategic guidance to enhance operational efficiency and service excellence.
Staff Development and Retention: Analyze and address staffing challenges, supporting efforts in recruitment, training, and retention to meet operational needs and budgetary constraints.
Qualifications
Professional Demeanor: Exceptional ability to interact with professionalism and tact with stakeholders at all levels, including employees, residents, families, and regulatory agencies.
Licensing: Ability to be licensed or credentialed as an Assisted Living manager or administrator in Texas, Colorado, and Kentucky.
Experience: Minimum of 3‑5 years in a managerial capacity with oversight of personnel, financial management, sales, marketing, and business operations. Prior experience in the senior living industry, particularly in a multi‑community environment, is highly desirable.
Technical Proficiency: Competent in the use of basic to advanced computer software and systems.
Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively across assigned communities.
Flexibility: Availability to work beyond standard hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
