Job Summary We are seeking a

Knowledge Manager

to work on‑site in support of a government contract in Washington, DC. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Manage and improve data‑related knowledge repositories, enhancing information discoverability and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing across divisions.

Close collaboration with the Chief Data Officer, data stewards, data governance leads, and technical teams to ensure alignment with the enterprise data and analytics strategy and major initiatives such as the enterprise data catalog, data standards management, and data acumen.

Identify, create, update, and maintain knowledge repositories related to enterprise data management and advanced analytics.

Contribute to data acumen and literacy initiatives by identifying, curating, and sharing data training sessions and materials.

Work with system owners, data stewards, and other technical teams to populate and enrich the enterprise data catalog.

Support data catalog adoption by curating high‑quality entries and providing guidance to stakeholders on usage and contributions.

Serve as a liaison between users and data/information sharing teams to facilitate cross‑functional information sharing.

Support working groups, community of practices meetings, and knowledge sharing sessions focused on data acumen.

Develop and deliver materials (FAQs, guides, reference documents) that support user understanding of strategic data initiatives, data governance, policies, and catalog tools.

Develop communications, project plans, briefing materials, and other varied written deliverables for an executive and enterprise audience.

Monitor and report on usage metrics of the data catalog and information sharing requests to inform improvements.

Identify gaps in data documentation and catalog metadata quality and propose actions to close them.

Contribute to knowledge management deliverables for enterprise data projects.

Create and maintain repositories for solutions and best practices to share with the client IT/Data community, a catalog of available trainings and resources, and curate data training paths and basic curricula.

Implement and curate a data standards/data model repository.

Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on KM practices to senior executives and stakeholders.

Develop an understanding of the needs and requirements of information end‑users.

Monitor and report the usage of knowledge management assets and resources.

Plan and manage the delivery of knowledge management projects.

Provide recommendations on data structures and databases that ensure the correct and quality production of reports/management information.

Required Skills And Qualifications

Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

5+ years of relevant experience in knowledge management, information management, or data governance. In the absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to demonstrate the required level of experience.

Familiarity with data catalogs and metadata management, proficiency with knowledge management tools (Confluence, SharePoint, wikis, etc.), excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, strong organizational and documentation skills, and experience supporting cross‑functional teams in a data‑rich environment.

Full‑Time Employee Compensation Compensation range: $60,000 – $180,000 USD. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, location, market data, bargaining agreements, and applicable statutory requirements.
