Akkodis is seeking a
Data Lake Support Engineer
for a
Contract
with a client in
Stamford, CT(Hybrid) . You will manage and optimize Azure-based data solutions, including Databricks and Data Factory, while ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Rate Range $37/hour to $42/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Manage and support Azure-based data lake environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks, leveraging PySpark scripting for data processing.
Implement infrastructure as code using PowerShell and Terraform for automation and scalability.
Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to streamline deployments and updates.
Provide production support and incident management, adhering to ITIL best practices for stability and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and ensure secure, efficient data operations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (master’s preferred).
Minimum 6–8 years in IT with strong experience in Azure Data Lake and related services.
Hands‑on expertise in Azure Databricks (PySpark scripting), Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
Proven experience in infrastructure automation using PowerShell and Terraform, along with Azure administration and development (ADF/ADB/DL).
