Position Overview SENIOR ESTIMATOR | GENERAL CONSTRUCTION

We’re looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Seattle team and lead estimating efforts for projects across a wide range of markets, including commercial, multifamily, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, senior living, and tenant improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on leadership, collaboration, and accuracy. The right person will bring strong technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to mentor and guide others while maintaining accountability for the quality and completeness of each estimate.

What You’ll Do
Lead and manage estimating efforts for negotiated and competitive bid projects from concept through completion
Review and validate project plans, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to ensure accurate and complete pricing
Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to Estimators and support staff
Collaborate with project managers, preconstruction teams, and operations staff to develop budgets and proposals
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
Evaluate project risks, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and recommend value‑engineering options
Lead presentations, interviews, and subcontractor outreach efforts
Help refine and improve estimating processes and tools to increase efficiency and consistency
What You Bring
8+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
Demonstrated success leading complex project estimates from conceptual through final bid
Experience providing mentorship, guidance, or supervision to other Estimators
Strong understanding of construction divisions, means, and methods
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project
Experience with On‑Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, SmartBid, or similar estimating or bid management software
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to build trust across teams
