Scientist, Cancer Immunology Discovery – Bristol Myers Squibb
Join us as a Scientist in the Cancer Immunology team at Bristol Myers Squibb.
Responsibilities
Design and execute experiments independently, troubleshoot, interpret and discuss data, maintain accurate records.
Perform laboratory work including tissue culture, flow cytometry, western blot, immune cell assays, ELISA, Luminex, and DNA/RNA/protein processing.
Present data in project and department meetings.
Collaborate with biology team members and other functional areas (protein purification, in vivo pharmacology, DMPK, informatics).
Use excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years academic/industry experience.
Master’s degree + 3+ years academic/industry experience.
Ph.D. or equivalent – no experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience in cancer immunology or oncology drug discovery; strong publication record.
Deep understanding of T cell, vascular, myeloid, and stromal biology.
Design, development, optimization of high‑throughput cell‑based assays for TCE activity and multispecific biologics.
Proficient with expression modulation tools (overexpression, CRISPR, RNAi).
Extensive knowledge of flow cytometry platforms (BD, Cytek Aurora, iQue).
Experience with automation (Tecan, Integra) and imaging platforms (Incucyte, Opera Phenix).
Knowledge of public datasets (DepMap, TCGA, GTEx, GEO).
Strong problem‑solving and project management skills.
Scientific programming (R, Python) preferred.
Strong publication record.
Compensation Overview Cambridge Crossing: $129,640 – $157,096 (annual). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may apply.
