The Tax Specialist will report to the Tax Senior and collaborate with other team members and tax return preparers to ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of all tax deliverables for the Bracebridge managed structure, including both onshore and offshore master‑feeder fund structures.

Responsibilities

Preparation related to partnership taxable income, partnership book and tax allocations, tax estimates, Schedule K‑1s and tax returns.

Forms 926, 8621, 8858, 8865, 8886, 5471, and W‑8 as well as any other required tax filings.

ASC 740 Uncertain Tax Position analyses.

Monthly NRA Withholding Statements.

Month‑end close process and production of reconciliations related to balance sheet and income statement accounts.

Analyze and identify book‑to‑tax differences including wash sales, PFICs, bond bifurcation, and accretion/amortization of discount/premium.

Document tax and accounting policies and procedures.

Assess and evaluate reporting processes and systems to ensure they are efficient and effective. Work with internal technical resources to enhance existing processes and develop new systems as required.

Research and implement operational improvements, ad‑hoc analysis and special projects.

Qualifications

BA degree in accounting or finance. CPA, MST or working toward a CPA or MST preferred.

3–5 years of financial services experience with exposure to taxation of financial products and hedge/mutual funds or investment companies preferred.

Knowledge of fixed income securities, derivatives and complex financial instruments.

Proficient with software, including advanced MS Excel.

Knowledge of Total Return accounting system (SS&C Globe‑Op platform), Brightline, K1x, Alteryx, and/or Workday is a plus.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse internal and external resources in a fast‑paced setting.

Current anticipated annual base salary range: $90,000 – $110,000. Base salary within the range will be determined by various factors including the individual's experience, skills and qualifications.
