This position is contingent upon contract award.
Description : The Congressional Support Analyst will provide a variety of support and analysis to the F‑35 JPO community by:
Drafting, developing, and coordinating staffing papers and packages in response to congressional staff and inquiries.
Providing quick‑turn analysis on F‑35 programmatic/financial impacts of congressional bills.
Attending congressional hearings and briefings with the F‑35 staff.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or 5 years additional experience.
5 years experience with DoD processes and the legislative cycle.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working on Capitol Hill, in a legislative affairs or policy role within a federal agency, or in a government relations role, with a mix of government and defense or private sector experience.
Active Secret Clearance.
