Responsibilities

Oversee Pharmacy Directors in assigned region and participate in training and orientation of newly hired/promoted pharmacy directors

Implement, oversee, and monitor new and existing directives

Manage the P & L for pharmacies in the assigned district, including preparation of the annual expense and capital budgets

Work with Regional VP of Operations to set strategic direction and ensure each pharmacy in the district meets budgeted profit and other goals

Identify pharmacies that are not performing to standard and develop corrective plans

Participate in implementation of new business start‑ups and manage to a successful outcome

Be directly responsible for customer service level commitments and take timely action to address service failures

Ensure district employees understand and adhere to compliance, regulatory and company processes and procedures

Participate in monthly operations reviews, respond to corporate and regional reporting requests, and provide profitability and expense forecasts

Work with Account Management and Sales to promote customer growth and retention

Analyze inventory management processes and optimize inventory levels to improve COGS and cash flow

Perform administrative tasks including Pharmacy Director performance evaluations, corrective actions, and capital expenditure requests

Participate and oversee internal and external audit activities

Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Education / Learning Experience:

Required – Four‑year college degree. Desired – RPh or PharmD, MBA.

Work Experience:

Required – Minimum of three years of management experience with significant P&L responsibility and multi‑site management. Desired – Long‑Term Care/Healthcare experience; prior leadership at director level.

Skills / Knowledge:

Required – Strategic Planning experience, strong business growth orientation, background in healthcare.

Licenses / Certifications:

Desired – Pharmacist License.

Behavior Competencies:

Required – Strategic Planning, Business Growth, Financial Operations Knowledge, Results Oriented, Leadership, Analytical Thinking, People Management.

Candidate must reside in Nevada or California.
