We’re seeking a
hands-on Technical Recruitment Specialist
to own end-to-end hiring for technical roles across engineering and product for a tech startup in growth mode. This is a true individual contributor role-ideal for someone who thrives on sourcing, engaging, and closing top technical talent in a high-growth startup environment with limit employer branding.
You’ll partner closely with founders and hiring managers, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and play a direct role in shaping their technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Own full-cycle recruitment for technical roles, developing and executing targeted sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, referrals, and other niche channels
Proactively identify, engage, and nurture passive technical talent
Conduct initial technical and behavioral screens to assess skills, problem-solving ability, and culture alignment
Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview plans, and hiring timelines
Manage and optimize the candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance
Drive offer management, compensation discussions, and close candidates in competitive markets
Maintain accurate data in the ATS and track recruiting metrics (time-to-hire, pipeline health, source effectiveness)
Continuously improve recruiting processes and recommend tools, workflows, and best practices suitable for a scaling startup
What We’re Looking For
6+ years of experience in technical recruiting gained in a startup or high-growth tech environment
Proven success hiring for engineering and technical roles (frontend, backend, full-stack, etc.)
Strong sourcing expertise with the ability to build pipelines from scratch
Comfortable operating independently with minimal structure or oversight
Confident partnering with senior technical stakeholders and founders
Data-driven mindset with strong organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
