JR60856**Overview of the Role:**The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for managing, coordinating and optimizing the supply chain network and transportation activities; and ensuring the continuous improvement of procedures, processes and results.**How you will make contributions that matter:*** Provide first-class transportation services for both internal stakeholders and external customers* Carry out freight bookings, load tenders and truck assignments (weekly schedules & changes)* Audit, code and track invoices (detention charges, rates, backups, corrections, etc)* Maintain freight & 3PL trackers (truck assignments / outside warehousing master)* Assist with period end (statements, accruals) and annual budgets* Manage resolution of operational issues and adapt to changing priorities based on business needs* Monitoring and analyzing the performance of freight carriers to improve carrier performance* Act as a link between carriers and the various Saputo internal departments* Identify and implement cost saving initiatives* Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner* Complies with all Saputo’s food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements and programs* Demonstrates integrity in all business activities with employees, suppliers and freight carriers* Reliable and consistent attendance and flexibility in work hours* Cross training for vacation coverage**You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field and equivalent job experience* Transportation operations experience preferable* Experience participating in cross-functional teams* Ability to develop relationships with all Levels of management* Strong communication, multi-tasking, planning, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills* Self motivated, organizational skills, detail oriented, and integrity is essential### **We support and care for our employees and their families by providing:*** Generous and complete benefit coverage with group insurance* Group retirement plan with employer contribution* Telemedicine and assistance program for employees and their families* Employee Share Ownership Plan with an employer match* Paid Parental Leave program* Paid time off: Sick days, floater days and volunteer day off* Opportunity to contribute to a collective RRSP & TFSA* Training and development programs* Saputo Flex Program, flexible work environment (schedule/location/time off) according to department needs* Organized activities for employees and their families* Advantageous discounts for Saputo products**Salary**: $78,170 - $102,600\*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education skills and training.### We support employment equity.
