as the next great step in your career. We are looking to add a full-time
Registered Veterinary Technician
to our team. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves animals and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, venipuncture, restraint, knowledge of x‑ray and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and supportive team member.

is a 3‑doctor hospital open from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, closed on Sundays.

Requirements
Registered Veterinary Technician , the license must be current
3+ years of veterinary experience (preferred)
Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
Passion for working with animals and their owners
Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
Obtaining accurate and thorough medical histories
Assisting doctor and other technical staff with restraint
Blood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
Placing IV catheters
Digital radiology including positioning.
Dentistry (digital x-rays, scaling, polishing)
Anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique)
TPR
Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology; HM5; Vetscan; Sedivue
Excellent client communication/education
