Essential Duties and Major responsibilities:

Provide direct service to patients.

Insure that DPH, OSHA, HIPAA and American Dental Association regulations are strictly followed.

Comply with departmental protocols
-
Commitment to providing dental care to families in a medically under-served community.

Willingness to be flexible in the development of new methods of dental services delivery.
-
Ability to deal with sensitive information in a highly confidential manner.
-
Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with patients, families, visitors, co-workers, health care professionals, funders, and other regulatory agencies.

Works as part of team.
-
Awareness of resources available within the health center to accommodate the needs of patients.
-
Supporting the coordination and expansion of School Community Based Dental Service program(s)
-
Travel to and from school/community locations, assisting with transportation of equipment/materials etc...
-
Continual promotion of CHC services at all sites
-
Act as clinical liaison between CHC and school staff
-
Maintains good working relations hip with school staff and advocates for team as needed.
-
Relays all clinical concerns and/or deficiencies to CDO for evaluation and correction.
-
Exercise care in the completion of work assignments and request direction when needed
-
Provider regular communication and documentation regarding program progress to CFK Program and CDO
-
Implement improvement measure and suggest ways to improve efficiency of operation and working conditions.

Attend all mandatory office and health center meetings.
-
Demonstrates understanding and commitment of dual mission of the health center

Demonstrates understanding and commitment to the established CHC Values and Standards
-
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery.
-
Meet the State of Massachusetts requirement for limited/fully licensed Dentists
-
Certified CPR/AED
-
Valid Massachusetts License in Dentistry
-
Minimum of three (3) years professional experience preferred.
-
Minimum one (1) year work internship or volunteer experience required.
-
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
-
Valid Driver's License and own Transportation.
