HCS 247 Travel is seeking a LPN / LVN Telemetry for a travel job in East Orange, New Jersey.Job Description & Requirements * Specialty: Telemetry * Discipline: LPN / LVN * Duration: 13 weeks * 36 hours per week * Shift: 12 hours, days * Employment Type: TravelMust understand Team Nursing is used on the tele floors (teams consist of an RN, LPN, and a PCT. Ratios will be 10 patients to a team, with LPNs having responsibility of 5 most stable patients minus what is out of their scope (initial assessments and IV pushes) There will also always be a charge nurse available to jump in and help the teams as needed). - * 2West is a regular TELE unit, 29 beds. 3 Main is a Post-Op unit (tele type patients coming out of PACU), 20 beds. * EMR: Cerner * RN/LPNs are expected to work 3 shifts/week, every other weekend. Weekends consist of Saturday or Sunday shifts, NOT Friday or Monday. * RNs/LPNs may be expected to take verbal, phone orders from the physicians or hospitalists as needed (which is reviewed in depth on the interviews). * Must be comfortable with IV placement and drawing labs * No scheduling restrictions (i.e. block schedule) are able to be approvedAbout HCS 247 TravelNurse First Travel Agency is committed to giving travel nurses the best experience possible.
