is a fast-growing, artisanal bakery known for its high-quality standards and modern atmosphere. The company was founded in Bethesda, MD in 2013, to bring fresh, made-from-scratch organic breads, pastries, sweets, and croissant items inspired by bakeries in France to the DMV area. We have expanded to eight retail locations, two production bakeries, and a thriving wholesale business. We serve coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores with fresh products every day, 365 days a year.

Take, for example, the process of making our signature baguettes: a cold-dough process that produces unique flavors, homemade “levain”, and made using state-of-the-art equipment imported from France. In addition, it takes two days, 11 steps, carefully selected ingredients, and the skill of a pastry chef to make our soft and flaky, mouthwateringly tender croissant.

Pastry Assistant
to join our Pastry department at our

esh Baguette Rockville production center, 804 Hungerford Dr, Rockville, MD 20850 . The Pastry Assistant's role is to support the Pastry Chefs in their daily operations. As a Pastry Assistant, you will be responsible for creating, preparing, producing and baking all pastries and desserts for the bakery to deliver outstanding guest experiences and financial profitability. Products vary from blueberry muffins, brownies, coffee cakes to éclairs, tarts, cannelé, mousses, ganache, and more.
Pay: $17.65 per hour

Maintain tools and personal hygiene to ensure food safety and quality standards. Prepare flour and other baking ingredients, either manually or with the assistance of commercial bakery equipment. Operate commercial bakery equipment, including mixers, blenders, ovens and cookers Work efficiently and quickly to meet production targets and deadlines. Ensure strict adherence to food safety guidelines and hygiene practices during all operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area. Open flexibility
to work Tuesday-Sunday between 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM ~7-8 hour shift ~ Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
No prior professional experience required. Capability to comply with food safety guidelines consistently. High School Diploma or GED Open availability
to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, mornings, and afternoons Availability to work on Holidays
