Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role for an Assistant Director of Finance, located in Washington, DC. The individual in this position will manage the daily financial operations of the hotel, including overseeing budgets, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include assisting with forecasting and financial planning, supervising accounting activities, analyzing financial data, and supporting the Director of Finance. The role will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial decision‑making and strategic planning.
Qualifications
Accounting and Financial Analysis skills, including knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Understanding of Financial Regulations and Compliance requirements
Experience with Financial Software and Tools, as well as proficiency in Excel
Strong Leadership and Team Management skills for supervising accounting and finance team members
Excellent Problem‑Solving and Decision‑Making abilities with meticulous attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus)
Previous experience in hospitality industry finance is preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
