About The Role We’re seeking a
Lead Clinical Faculty
member who brings both heart and rigor to clinical education. In this role, you will provide academic and operational leadership for clinical instruction and supervise a team of 20+ part‑time clinical faculty. You’ll help create exceptional learning environments, uphold accreditation standards, and ensure that students have safe, supportive, high‑quality clinical experiences throughout their nursing program. Reporting to the Regional Assistant Dean of Nursing, you’ll play a key role in strengthening clinical partnerships, supporting faculty development, and advancing the success and progression of nursing students across your assigned region, state, or zone. What You’ll Do Lead Exceptional Clinical Learning
Facilitate clinical education experiences across all program semesters.
Teach in the clinical environment, including assessment support, clinical judgment, skills, medication administration, and student evaluation.
Maintain clinical faculty competencies and perform independently as an instructor.
Support Faculty Growth & Excellence
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of part‑time clinical faculty.
Lead faculty onboarding, coaching, performance evaluation, and professional development.
Conduct clinical reviews and create individualized annual development plans.
Participate in the hiring and assignment process each term.
Advance Student Success
Assist in evaluating student progress and addressing academic or behavioral concerns.
Ensure attendance, documentation, and student performance records are completed promptly.
Utilize flexible instructional methods to support diverse learning styles.
Strengthen Clinical Quality & Partnerships
Develop and maintain relationships with clinical sites and partners.
Collaborate with leadership to secure, optimize, and schedule clinical opportunities.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and state/national regulatory agencies.
Monitor clinical quality and evaluate faculty performance.
Drive Continuous Improvement
Contribute to curriculum integrity and provide feedback for program enhancement.
Support data collection and reporting for accreditation and organizational needs.
Participate in faculty development meetings and broader academic initiatives.

Qualifications Required
Registered Nurse license in Utah or regional work location
Master’s degree in Nursing
5+ years of nursing clinical experience
2–3 years of teaching experience
American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
Preferred
Doctorate in Nursing or related field
