What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Oversee direct sales development activities for new business opportunities with government agencies
Develop and execute growth strategies for government business
Lead opportunity capture and proposal efforts for avionics and SaaS solutions
Build and maintain relationships with U.S. and foreign military/government customers
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to win and execute key opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications)
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to attain and maintain government security clearance
Minimum 10 years of experience in selling or working with avionic and aircraft systems programs
Proven success in managing large-scale DoD/government contracts
Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and FAR/DFARS compliance
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technical or related discipline required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with international government entities
Advanced degree preferred
Experience with CRM platforms and forecasting tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Demonstrated leadership ability and business acumen
Effective communicator and negotiator with executive presence
