Job Description Technical Proposal Manager

QxBranch is seeking a seasoned proposal manager to provide commercial technical proposal support to the engineering sales team and company leadership.
The proposal manager will be responsible for leading and managing the proposal development process for a range of QxBranch business opportunities. In this role, you will work with the Business Development team to manage leads, track proposal opportunities, production support, coordinating technical and program management input, drafting and refining content and delivering winning proposals.
You must be able to craft compelling technical proposal content, with excellent communication and language skills to create concise and persuasive proposals under deadlines. You will analyze proposal requirements and business needs with close attention to detail and understand what is needed to meet the proposal requirements. You will manage end-to-end process including intake, planning, drafting, final production and delivery. Acute attention to detail, creativity and flexibility are vital, as is an affirmative attitude.
Responsibilities
Effectively execute the proposal development process.
Identify win themes and competitive positioning
Coordinate with the marketing team on targeted industry initiatives
Articulate, in detail, what an effective proposal for each opportunity should look like
Build and maintain the QxBranch Proposal Library and Proposal Templates
Review and revise QxBranch’s proposal development process
Facilitate the proposal development effort in QxBranch’s CRM tools
Ensure each proposal is consistent with QxBranch branding and marketing guidelines
Contribute to business development strategy and planning
Track and prepare for up-coming proposal opportunities
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Business, Financial, or Technology related BA/BS bachelor’s degree required.
A track record of successful proposal writing, with submissions that were selected for award
The ability to effectively execute the proposal development process and can articulate, in detail, what an effective proposal should look like
Strategic thinker, who keeps current on the latest marketing trends
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision and display strong self-initiative
Experience building proposal templates, compliance matrices, and other proposal development tools
Self-motivated, flexible and excellence-focused attitude. Committed and passionate -will go the extra mile.
Ability to learn quickly, conduct research, assimilate information and turn thoughts into written word
Collaborate well with others to meet objectives and are open to suggestions that allow you to produce superior work.
Excellent time management abilities; able to prioritize time and resources efficiently, and prepare for and welcome the unexpected. Works well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
