SAP OTC & Logistics Architect, AWS Fintech
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP SD and Logistics Functional architect to spearhead the implementation of the Sales and Distribution (SD) module for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and deploying the SD module to enhance our sales, distribution, and returns management processes.
Key job responsibilities
Lead comprehensive business process analysis and requirements gathering workshops with sales, customer service, distribution, and logistics stakeholders.
Design and architect robust, scalable, and efficient SAP SD and Logistics solutions, developing detailed blueprints and strategic roadmaps from design through delivery.
Configure and customize core SAP SD modules, including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing (Invoicing), Intercompany, Consignment, Reverse Logistics, Shipping, Credit Management, and Master Data.
Configure and integrate key logistics components, including Delivery Processing, Transportation Management (TM) within S/4HANA, and basic Warehouse Management (WM) concepts.
Design and configure cross-company sales, inter-company billing, and inter-company stock transfers to ensure proper financial postings and streamlined operations.
Architect solutions for consignment stock processing, including consignment fill-up, issues, returns, and billing, optimizing inventory visibility and management.
Integrate and configure functionalities related to export controls, sanctions, licenses, and legal regulations, potentially leveraging a Global Trade compliance system.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and architectures.
5+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
Experience with sales, distribution, BOM, and returns management processes, including order management, pricing, delivery, and credit/debit memo processing.
Experience integrating with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), Demand Forecasting, Procure to Pay and Sales and operations planning processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
4+ years of implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA experience.
Knowledge of vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and third-party logistics integration.
