Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a motivated Preconstruction Manager with 8 years of estimating experience focused on mechanical construction projects. The right candidate will manage, in collaboration with the Project Executive, the successful completion of assigned preconstruction projects and lead project financials, risk management, and client relations. Successful candidates will share a passion for getting the job done, confidently represent the firm, and commit to schedule and cost matters within approved parameters.

What You’ll Do As a key leader in the entire work acquisition process, you will manage, coordinate, and deliver the preconstruction phases of projects while maintaining extensive client contact. You will produce progress estimates at design milestones, evaluate material and system costs, review documentation, build and maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships, and conduct detailed take‑offs and estimating, define bid package scopes, and oversee the subcontractor/supplier bidding process.

What You Bring To The Table

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or a related field

8 years of estimating experience with a concentration in mechanical construction projects

Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices

Conceptual ability to work with minimum information and quickly develop an understanding of client and architect requirements

Demonstrated imaginative, innovative, and succinct approach to a project

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Strong attention to detail, well‑organized, and diplomatic with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

Some travel may be required depending on business needs

Salary Range: $110,000 – $135,000 with up to 20% in an annual discretionary bonus
