HID Global’s Identification Technologies Business Area seeks an experienced and results‑driven N. America Sales Director to expand revenue and drive new customer acquisition focusing on our Textile Services linen management solution. This high‑impact role is centered on building a business with a focus on winning new accounts. The ideal candidate will excel at navigating the linen management ecosystem, proactively identifying and securing high‑value new accounts, and leading contract negotiations in collaboration with our legal team to establish long‑term, profitable partnerships.

Identification Technologies (IDT) is creating trusted identities for IoT applications through Smart Components and Enabling Services. HID’s Identification Technologies powers the trusted identities of the world’s people, places and things through smart components and cloud services, offering contactless identification and sensing (RFID, NFC, and BLE) components and solution enabling technologies.
Responsibilities
Developing and executing an account strategy in hospitality (with a focus on N. America), prioritizing revenue growth and new deployments.
Proactively identifying and securing new hospitality clients (“new logos”) and exploring partnership opportunities within the ecosystem with linen suppliers and laundries.
Cultivating strong, long‑lasting relationships with current and new linen supplier clients, emphasizing sustained growth and mutually beneficial business objectives.
Leveraging in‑depth knowledge of the entire selling chain, including hospitality, linen supplier, and laundry stakeholders, to streamline product adoption and implementation.
Maintaining a robust sales pipeline, with accurate forecasting and tracking of revenue projections for existing and potential accounts.
Leading negotiations for pricing, terms, and supply agreements, collaborating with our legal team to secure favorable contracts that support long‑term revenue growth and partnership sustainability.
Partnering closely with internal teams (Product Development, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Support) to align on product and implementation strategies for customers.
Staying informed about trends in hospitality, linen management, and RFID, gathering market insights and competitive intelligence to refine the revenue growth strategy and support product innovation.
Proactively managing customer satisfaction and loyalty within each account, focusing on reliability, seamless support, and value delivery to foster enduring partnerships that drive ongoing revenue.
Qualifications & Background
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field preferred.
10+ years’ experience in sales, specifically within the RFID or related technology industries.
5+ years of experience in hospitality.
Demonstrated success acquiring new hospitality customers.
Demonstrated success managing large, strategic accounts within the hospitality or laundry technology sectors, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of RFID technology and applications; experience in linen management use case is a plus.
Exceptional sales and negotiation abilities, with a record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Outstanding skills in engaging and influencing key stakeholders at all levels to foster strong, long‑term partnerships.
Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams, including regional sales, pre‑sales, product management, and engineering, to align on strategic goals and execution.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends, customer feedback, and sales data, with the ability to extract actionable insights and develop strategic plans.
Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering impactful presentations and producing detailed reports.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce.com) and digital sales tools to effectively manage account activities and sales pipelines.
Ability to navigate and collaborate across cultures and regions, with a flexible approach to accommodate different time zones and travel requirements.
