Digital Electronics Circuit & Unit Hardware Design Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level)
to join our Space Digital Products & Electronics team in
El Segundo, CA .
In this role, you will design and implement the digital circuitry that drives satellite functionality, shaping the future of satellite technology. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of digital components, enabling efficient data processing and communication within the satellite.
Position Responsibilities
Design and development of state‑of‑the‑art digital circuit & unit hardware for aerospace applications.
Conduct electronics design, requirement definition, modeling and analysis, testing, performance verification, and design verification.
Provide technical support for production and test of electronic products.
Support projects involving electronic design and maintain detailed requirements and specifications.
Develop limited‑scope detailed designs and conduct testing and analysis to support design.
Capture data for technical performance measures and perform basic analysis.
Provide basic engineering support throughout the product lifecycle and conduct trade studies and literature research.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor of Science in an accredited engineering, engineering technology, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science program.
2+ years of experience with digital electronics, digital circuits, or digital electronics hardware.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with digital electronics and circuit design and analysis.
Experience designing, analyzing, and testing complex electronic circuit assemblies and units, including schematic capture, IR drop, signal integrity, and timing analysis.
Experience with Xpedition schematic capture, HyperLynx, Spice, HFSS, Microwave Office CAD tools.
Firmware, microprocessor or other hardware‑oriented experience is helpful.
Active Secret, Top Secret, or SSBI clearance.
Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Security Clearance Requires the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance post‑start is required.
