Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer, Android in New York, NY.
We are looking for a talented engineer who loves building innovative mobile products. You will work in small, productive agile teams and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high‑quality experiences.
Responsibilities
Develop Android client code solutions that align with product strategy and best practices.
Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners/Analysts to deliver engaging, purposeful customer experiences.
Participate in all agile ceremonies and ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
Advocate the mobile platform within internal and external communities.
Continuously learn mobile technologies (Kotlin, Swift, third‑party libraries, etc.).
Contribute to engineering discussions and incorporate feedback.
Mentor junior to mid‑level team members.
Collaborate across disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.).
Own and lead delivery of major components and platform needs with Senior Engineers and Architects.
Share best practices and improve processes across teams.
Identify technical obstacles early and work with the team for creative solutions.
Review pull requests and enforce Kotlin and other language idioms.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internship does not count).
At least 2 years of experience building Android applications.
At least 2 years of experience with Kotlin.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience building Android applications.
3+ years of experience with Kotlin.
1+ years of experience in open‑source frameworks.
1+ year of experience with Agile practices.
