Job Summary Power Platform Developer works with cutting‑edge technology, delivers high‑quality solutions across various local industries, and collaborates on holistic projects of varying size and scope. This role performs hands‑on customized development and unit testing of low‑code software solutions for our customers, while receiving continuous career development opportunities.

Job Duties

Power Platform Development: Creates custom business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, leveraging Canvas Apps, Model‑Driven Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to develop applications.

Cross‑Functional Team Collaboration: Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to define technical specifications and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Software Design: Produces practical software and database designs that meet both business and technical requirements.

Consulting: Gains a deep understanding of client needs and plays an integral part in defining and proposing practical solutions to meet or exceed client expectations.

Software Architecture: Participates in defining the software and database architecture for new solutions.

Business Requirements Consumption: Gains a deep understanding of written and verbal business requirements provided by other business analysts or customers to produce and deliver software solutions.

Business Requirements Gathering: Participates in client requirements gathering sessions and accurately documents business requirements.

Implementation and Support: Manages software deployments and ongoing software support.

Supervisory Responsibilities Other duties as required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree, required; focus in Computer Science, preferred.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Three (3) or more years of Power Platform experience, required.

Three (3) or more years of software development experience, required.

One (1) or more years of experience leading development projects, required.

Certification in Microsoft Power Platform or related technologies, preferred.

Professional experience coding with multiple Microsoft 365 technologies, required.

Development experience with one or more of the following: Power Apps (Canvas, Model‑Driven), Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio (Formerly Power Virtual Agents), Dataverse.

One (1) or more years producing technical designs (artifacts), preferred.

Experience with Agile Software Development, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform Custom Connectors, SharePoint List & Document libraries, source control (Azure DevOps or similar), front‑end development (JavaScript, AngularJS, React, TypeScript), back‑end development (C#, NodeJS), web design (HTML, CSS), database experience (Dataverse, SQL Server), SQL Development, cloud technologies (Azure), CI/CD pipeline experience.

Ability to develop and learn new and emerging technologies.

Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming (OOP).

Ability to work within a consultative environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must be open to travel to client sites, if needed.

License/Certifications

Certification in Microsoft Power Platform or related technologies, preferred.
