Position Associate Engineer Electronics / Engineer Electronics (T01/T02). Located at Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Sector in San Diego, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, or Palmdale, CA.

Responsibilities

Research, design, develop, and test a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including:

Radar and radiation detection equipment

Radio, television and other communications equipment and systems

Circuitry components

Analog and digital computers

Control and test equipment

Basic Qualifications for Associate Engineer Electronics (T01)

Be completing or has completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2026.

Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar STEM degree.

Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite) and Program Special Access within a reasonable period.

Basic Qualifications for Engineer Electronics (T02)

Be completing or has completed a Master’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2026.

Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar STEM degree.

Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite) and Program Special Access within a reasonable period.

Preferred Qualifications

Overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.

Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).

Pay Range

Associate Engineer Electronics (T01): $74,000 - $111,000.

Engineer Electronics (T02): $89,400 - $134,200.

Relocation Assistance Relocation assistance may be available.

Travel Yes, 10% of the time.

Clearance Type Secret.
