Executive Director of Ancillary Services . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operational leader to join a growing and thriving independent community health clinic.
The Graves Gilbert Clinic seeks an Executive Director of Ancillary Services to support their growing organization. The Executive Director of Ancillary Services is a key member of the executive leadership team for a dynamic, physician‑owned, multi‑specialty clinic. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for the Radiology and Laboratory departments with a strong focus on growth, service line expansion, operational efficiency, and financial performance. The Executive Director will champion innovation and high‑quality care, aligning ancillary services with the clinic’s patient‑centric and physician‑led mission.
Graves Gilbert Clinic is an independent physician‑owned and physician‑operated, community‑driven clinic located in Bowling Green, Kentucky that offers primary care, specialty, and urgent care at locations throughout South‑Central Kentucky. It has over 28 locations with 108 providers, 100 mid‑levels, and 30 specialties delivering primary and specialty care services to communities throughout the Bowling Green area. This is an exciting time to join Graves Gilbert Clinic as they are growing expeditiously. This role will identify and lead expansion opportunities including new service lines (e.g., advanced imaging, molecular testing), satellite site development, and direct‑to‑consumer offerings.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for Radiology and Laboratory departments.
Drive growth, service‑line expansion, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
Champion innovation and high‑quality care aligned with the clinic’s mission.
Identify and lead expansion opportunities for new services, satellite sites, and direct‑to‑consumer offerings.
Collaborate with physicians and multi‑specialty teams to integrate ancillary services into patient care.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, EMR, LIS, and PACS systems.
Build and develop high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
Qualifications
7–10 years of progressive leadership in multi‑site healthcare operations, preferably within a physician‑owned or outpatient clinical environment.
Direct experience managing Radiology and/or Laboratory Services, with a strong background in strategic growth, budgeting, and multi‑specialty collaboration.
Proficiency in EMR, LIS, and PACS systems.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with a strong leadership presence.
Strategic mindset with operational savvy, financial acumen, and business development skills.
Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
