Our client in the commercial construction industry is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join their team in Santa Clara, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee high-profile tenant improvement and design-build projects for some of the most recognizable names in tech and life sciences. In this role, you will lead full lifecycle delivery of corporate interior tenant improvement and design-build projects from preconstruction through closeout, typically managing 4–5 projects at a time.
To be successful, you must value proactive client communication, tight document control, and mentoring PEs/PMs while keeping quality, safety, and profitability on target. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader with a strong background in commercial interiors, MEP project coordination, and bring a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously—typically ranging from $1M to $5M in value. Responsibilities
Manage the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout
Prepare estimates and competitive bid proposals
Lead OAC and project coordination meetings
Ensure all permits, codes, and safety requirements are met
Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and cost controls
Supervise project teams including PMs, superintendents, and engineers
Prepare and submit reports, logs, and documentation via Procore and MS Project
Foster client relationships and identify future business opportunities
Oversee QA/QC logs, inspections, and punch lists
Track cost, forecast, and drive profitability
Qualifications
6+ years of commercial construction project management experience required
5+ years of Corporate tenant improvement or Interior design‑build experience required
3+ years of experience working for a General Contractor required
Strong understanding of MEP systems and sequencing required
Proficiency in MS Projects and Excel required
Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
