Supervise day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Inspect contractor and subcontractor work to verify compliance with contract requirements. Review and approve trade contractor payment applications in coordination with the Project Manager. Maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients, including owner and architect/engineer representatives. Develop and manage site logistics plans in collaboration with the Superintendent and Project Manager. Conduct quality inspections and coordinate site testing efforts. Monitor labor and material costs, preparing detailed short-term schedules to keep activities on or ahead of scheduled dates. Prepare and submit Superintendent’s daily reports and participate in project and subcontractor meetings. Qualifications
10+ years of heavy civil construction experience. 4-year engineering degree or equivalent professional experience. OSHA‑10 and OSHA‑30 certification preferred; safety‑oriented mindset required. Strong reading ability for drawings and specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software. Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills. Strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
