Process/Integration/Device Engineering – Summer/Fall Co‑Op
Skyworks Solutions is seeking a process/integration/device engineering Co‑op within the Foundry Operations Engineering group. We work with world‑class foundries to deliver process and device technologies for RF, CMOS, BCD products. We strive to maximize yield while maintaining performance and cost with a zero‑defect mindset to deliver best‑in‑class quality. The duration of this Co‑op will be June–Dec 2026.
Responsibilities
Support the development, ramp, and production of various products across multiple fabs by analyzing & modeling silicon yield and PCM electrical results.
Collaborate with technology development, product, quality, reliability, and manufacturing teams to ensure the process technologies meet objectives.
Work with the various foundries to meet device targets, yield, and reliability targets.
Required Experience and Skills
Education:
Masters or Ph.D. Engineering candidate
Currently pursuing graduate degree in areas such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
Must have the ability to work onsite 5 days per week in San Jose office.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong background in devices, materials, or process engineering.
Flexible and interested in a wide range of topics within semiconductor device physics, process, and material.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Data analysis experience is a plus.
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results.
Compensation The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00–$47.50 per hour, and for a Non‑Engineering intern is USD $22.50–$42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
