Position Strategic Account Director (Austin, TX)
Base Pay $250,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do
Drive Growth & Retention: Prospect, develop, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities and contract renewals.
Strategic Account Planning: Partner with EvenUp product and executive teams to develop and execute long-term success plans aligned with customer objectives and business outcomes.
Own High-Value Accounts: Lead a portfolio of 5-10 key accounts, ensuring they receive personalized, high-touch support and strategic guidance.
On-site Client Engagement: Be present with clients at least once a week—build trust, understand evolving goals, and ensure alignment.
Outcome-Focused Advocacy: Advocate for customer needs internally, providing insights to Product, Finance, and Engineering to improve offerings and align on goals.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 5+ years in Strategic Customer Success or Key Account Management, preferably in high-growth B2B SaaS startups
Account Expertise: Proven track record managing a few large, complex accounts with $1M+ in ARR or equivalent scope
Consultative Approach: Skilled at working with every level of the business: executive stakeholders, operations leaders, contributors to understand their goals and deliver outcomes
Hands-On & Autonomous: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership—without needing constant direction
Collaborative & Internal Influence: Excellent cross-functional communication—ensuring customer feedback is woven into product and service enhancements
Weekly Local Travel: Comfortable engaging with regular in-person meetings, drop-ins, trainings within a two hour drive
