Sr. Finance Systems Analyst
About the Role As a CBRE Senior Finance Systems Analyst, you will provide advanced support and technical assistance to users for complex issues related to a variety of software applications. The role is part of the Financial Systems function, ensuring accounting systems operate effectively.
What You’ll Do
Respond to requests for assistance with a variety of accounting software packages.
Document issues, resolutions, or other actions using the incident management system.
Resolve complex issues, including escalated requests from lower-level support staff.
Design and develop custom reports based on internal and external client business requirements.
Guide small to medium size system migrations, new client implementations, and system upgrades; actively participate in projects to increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
Identify difficult process and system improvements and execute solutions that will increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction using established processes.
Assist the Supervisor with reviewing system and user request reports to ensure all systems supported are in compliance.
Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, helping reach agreements.
Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
