We have experience in all substantive areas of environmental law and can help our clients address the full spectrum of their environmental needs.
In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated annual salary ranges for this position, depending on location, are as follows.
Albany, NY: $195,000 to $220,000
Boston, MA: $300,000 to $350,000
Chicago, IL: $300,000 to $350,000
Los Angeles, CA: $300,000 to $350,000
Rochester, NY: $195,000 to $220,000
San Francisco, CA: $300,000 to $350,000
Providence, RI: $195,000 to $220,000
Manchester, NH: $195,000 to $220,000
New York, NY: $300,000 to $350,000
Long Island, NY: $235,000 to $265,000
Washington, DC: $300,000 to $350,000
In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on an array of factors, including but not limited to: work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications. Because such contingent compensation is not yet calculable or may be zero ($0) in some circumstances, the above-listed salary range(s) are Nixon Peabody's good faith estimate of the annual salaries it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting.

Job Requirements Our Environmental practice is seeking to hire an experienced attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate will have at least
five years of experience
in environmental law. Experience with extended producer responsibility, sustainability, supply chains, and climate risk reporting is preferred. Cap and trade experience is a plus. Extensive environmental litigation experience with an ability to manage cases will also be considered, along with additional experience with environmental or energy regulatory law.
Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials, superb judgment and communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent client services.
