Job Duties We are seeking a part‑time (hourly/wage) clinician to perform on‑site psychiatric admission evaluations for an adult (18‑64) public sector patient population, during Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The candidate should be available at least one day per month, though full weekends are often available as well.
The successful candidate will have a high level of knowledge and skill in general psychiatry; ability to work cooperatively with other disciplines; interest in working with severe mental illnesses.
Minimum Qualifications
Unrestricted medical licensure by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
Board Certification preferred but board eligible accepted.
Medical degree and completion of an ACGME‑approved residency training in Psychiatry.
Additional Considerations Post‑residency practice and medical training experience desirable but not mandatory.
