Job Description Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Pediatric Neurologist to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our team of two Child Neurologists is seeking a physician to join our thriving pediatric multispecialty clinic. We welcome an experienced BC practitioner or a new BC/BE graduate.

Practice Highlights Dynamic group interested in expanding evidence-based child neurology services to best meet the needs of the children in the state Opportunities for general child neurologists and those with additional fellowship training Excellent work-life balance - No overnight call, required weekend days no more than 1/3, no direct parent calls, pediatric neurology is a consult service
Culturally and socioeconomically diverse patient population Flexible inpatient/outpatient split Dedicated, experienced child neurology nursing staff that works well as a team, helps to manage inbox and symptoms calls EEG technicians shared with adult neurology service and experienced at working with children Child life specialists available to help with procedures Hospital growth includes new physician lounge and gym on site.
Dedicated to family-centered Care, the Children's Center at Presbyterian encompasses both inpatient and outpatient services for specialty pediatric care. Our dedicated pediatric intensive care, pediatric inpatient unit, NICU and multispecialty clinic are all co-located at our flagship campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
Oversees and is accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes of pediatric neurology patients.
Manages the physician/patient relationship, working to assure patient and family satisfaction with care.
Participates in system-wide health management initiatives.
Provides input into the practice site’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
Receives and resolves patient complaints.
Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric hematology oncology patients.
Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.
Works to assure patient satisfaction with care.
Participates in team and multispecialty group meetings.
Provides input into the practice site’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
Oversees and is accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes within the assigned facilities.
Maintain coding and encounter data standards for completeness, accuracy, timeliness and reimbursement level, including legible documentation.
Assists in leading the Advanced Practice Clinicians in delivering appropriate patient education/care.
Performs other functions as required.
