Concord Center – Food Service Director (Brooklyn, NY) is seeking an experienced
Food Service Director
to lead our Dietary Department. We offer competitive pay and full benefits in a supportive long‑term care environment.
Base Pay Range : $59,999.97/yr - $59,999.97/yr
Duties:
Plan, assign & supervise Food Service staff
Create schedules & prepare payroll information
Oversee food and supply storage & safe handling
Ensure kitchen, storage, dining areas & equipment remain clean and compliant
Inspect resident trays for accuracy and diet compliance
Assist on tray line when needed
Plan and coordinate food preparation for special events
Handle ordering & purchasing for the department
Conduct staff training, orientation & ongoing development
Requirements:
CDM certification required
HS diploma or equivalent
Long‑term Care Food Service Experience strongly preferred
ServSafe or Sodexo certification preferred
Knowledge of large‑scale and therapeutic food preparation
Strong leadership & supervisory abilities
Excellent communication skills; strong team player

The facility features 140 beds including 17 vent‑certified beds. Residents live in attractively furnished private and semi‑private rooms.
