Bo & Mei is not building loud hype or performative “community.” Social content here isn’t about spectacle; it’s about sincerity, memory, and culture shared gently. Translate creative concepts into shootable content plans Film short-form video content (studio, lifestyle, product moments, founder journey reflections & authentic BTS) Edit for IG/TikTok formats (9:16 primary) with sensitivity to rhythm & story Light motion/text graphics when needed Maintain file organization + smooth delivery workflow Collaborate with Founder to shape tone, voice, and visual consistency Help build a sustainable cadence for social content Nice-to-haves (not required but exciting):
Basic copywriting for simple titles/captions Experience with kids/parenting/lifestyle products Understanding of pan-AAPI cultural design + heritage themes What They’re Looking For
A portfolio or sizzle reel showcasing shooting + editing ability (please only send pieces produced and/or edited by you directly) Strong eye for composition, color, and natural light Proficiency in a major editing tool (Premiere Pro / FinalCut Pro / DaVinci / CapCut Pro) Able to work independently with clear direction Calm, grounded energy; not hype-chasing or boastful Appreciates why brands are built, not just how content is made Sample Deliverables (subject to specific scope)
- Around 3–6 short-form videos per month - Roughly 1–2 light shoot days per month (NYC-based preferred) - Light revisions when necessary Onboarding Timeline
