We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team and provide home health services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing interventions to help clients reach their goals.
Responsibilities Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs). Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional mobility. Assist in the development of patient care plans. Instruct patients in the use of adaptive equipment. Educate patients and families on safety and injury prevention. Provide home health services to patients in their homes. Maintain accurate records of patient care.
Qualifications Current COTA license to practice in CA Current BLS/CPR certification Valid CA Driver’s license Minimum one-year Clinical experience Home Health experience preferred
Documentary Requirements: Mandatory Physical (within the last year). You may bring a note from your physician prior to the Orientation Date Mandatory TB (within the last year) OR Chest X-ray (within the last 5 years) MMR immunization or titer showing immunity prior to your Orientation Date Varicella immunization or titer showing immunity prior to your Orientation Date Hep B immunization or titer showing immunity prior to your Orientation Date TDAP vaccination or declination prior to your Orientation Date Yearly Influenza vaccination or declination prior to your Orientation Date COVID vaccination or declination prior to your Orientation Date
