State of the art operating room equipped with robotic-assisted, pediatric laparoscopy, and pediatric cystoscopy surgery equipment.
Established advanced continence program and urodynamic tools.
Hospital based site, enjoy the ease of outpatient clinic and surgery within the same facility.
Work alongside a collaborative pediatric team in real time including anesthesia, radiology, and maternal fetal medicine.
Affiliated with the University of Illinois Rockford School of Medicine.
Opportunity to teach and work with medical students.
M-F, Flexible Schedule
Your support team will include a team of nurses and an Advanced Practice Provider.

An oncology fellowship is not required for this role however, this is a wonderful opportunity for a fellowship trained urologic oncologist to work with collaborating oncologist at Mercyhealths new Cancer Institute opening late spring 2025.
Non for profit 501c3 organization that qualifies for the Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program - PSLF.
Qualifications
MD/DO Board Eligible/Certified
Urology Fellowship trained with ABU added qualifications in Pediatric Urology
The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team.
A passion to teach residents and medical students in didactic/clinic setting.
Skilled at providing exceptional care.
Compensation & Benefits Mercyhealth offers a highly competitive initial salary guarantee (based on MGMA guidelines) leading to a production-based model after the first year, along with an outstanding benefits package:
Salary Range 585k-750k
Generous Sign-on bonus and loan forgiveness
