Save Job

About Daylight Daylight builds capital markets for decentralized energy. We develop vertically integrated marketplaces to enhance capital formation and liquidity for behind-the-meter solar and storage, driving savings and reliability for homeowners while scaling a new energy resource for power grids.

Our team brings together energy, infrastructure, and technology veterans who believe in a future where communities power themselves. Backed by a16z, Framework, and other leading investors, we are building the financial and operational infrastructure to make that vision real.

The Role We are hiring a Head of Capital Markets to own and scale Daylight's capital formation strategy across warehouse facilities, structured credit, and asset‑backed securitizations. This role will translate large volumes of consumer‑facing energy assets into repeatable, institutional‑grade financing products. You will design and execute warehouse facilities, oversee portfolio aggregation, and lead term takeouts through securitization and other structured financing solutions.

You will assist the product team in designing new tokenized marketplaces for distributed energy financing, merging DeFi and TradFi.

You will work closely with the executive team, finance, legal, and product to ensure capital markets strategy is tightly aligned with origination economics, asset performance, and long‑term balance sheet discipline.

This role is in person in our New York City office.
