UpVote Campaigns is a nonpartisan grassroots organizing app and voter mobilization platform used by campaigns, PACs, and civic organizations across the United States. We help organizations turn trusted personal relationships into measurable turnout using modern campaign technology.
As demand for relational organizing grows ahead of the 2026 cycle, we are expanding our network of senior field professionals to lead and execute UpVote programs for our clients.
Role We are seeking experienced Field Directors and Campaign Managers to serve as Relational Organizing Directors for campaigns using the UpVote platform. In this role, you will design, launch, and manage relational organizing programs in partnership with client campaigns. You will be the primary owner of the UpVote program, ensuring volunteers, data, and outreach efforts align with campaign goals.
Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation of UpVote relational organizing programs for client campaigns Design and manage volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement strategies Build relational universes and translate win numbers into outreach goals Oversee data collection including Candidate ID, Vote Plan, and turnout tracking Coordinate GOTV efforts using relational outreach, phone campaigns, events, and SMS Serve as the primary liaison between the campaign and the UpVote team Ensure consistent use of the platform and adherence to best practices throughout the cycle
Required Experience and Skills Previous experience as a Field Director, Campaign Manager, or field staff on a political campaign Strong understanding of voter mobilization and volunteer programs Comfort managing data, tracking metrics, and using campaign technology Ability to lead volunteers and staff across multiple communities Willingness to learn and specialize in relational organizing methodology
Training and Application Process To be considered for this role, all applicants must complete the UpVote Relational Organizing and Admin Training Course (available through the UpVote Campaigns website). Successful completion demonstrates readiness to run an UpVote program in the field.
