Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a BE/BC Gastroenterologist trained physician to join our established practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance.
Practice Highlights
Expected work schedule: 36 hours of direct patient care, 4 hours of administrative time
Dedicated GI Lab time 2-3 times per week seeing on average 12-15 patients per day.
Clinic patient visits 1 day per week.
Responsibilities
Delivers clinical care to patients in the PMG GI practice in all venues including clinic and lab
Supports mechanisms to gather and report quality measures
Receives and resolves patient, staff and provider complaints
Participates in quality improvement plans
Works with the leadership team including clinic manager and lab manager on the practice’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance
Participates in the recruitment and retention of physicians and staff who work in the practice
Takes corrective action when arranged with accountability and authority
Determines care plans for patients and executes them; teaches, trains and oversees APCs in the care they deliver to GI patients in clinic
Performs other functions as required
Additional Job Description
Education: M.D./D.O. in clinical practice
Current New Mexico License required
Board certified in Gastroenterology
