Senior Sales Director – Oracle Government, Defense & Intelligence
Oracle’s Government, Defense & Intelligence team seeks a dynamic senior sales director to accelerate growth and innovation, shaping the future of cloud and enterprise technology for the Federal Civilian and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
This is a hybrid position that involves 3 days a week in‑office work and/or meetings at the client site. Candidates must be based in the Reston VA/greater Washington DC area.

About the Role As Senior Director, you’ll oversee two Sales Managers and their teams, setting vision and direction while maintaining critical leadership continuity and executional discipline. You’ll collaborate with Oracle executives, product experts, and our defense customers’ most senior leaders, ensuring that Oracle is a trusted mission partner.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of successful technology sales management experience within Federal Civilian and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Demonstrated leadership in driving account growth, building winning teams, and navigating complex government sales cycles.
Solid expertise in Cloud, SaaS, and On‑Prem enterprise solutions.
Relationship builder with a disciplined, strategic approach to business development and pipeline health.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Qualifications Certain U.S. customer or client‑facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.
Compensation US: Hiring range in USD from $153,000 to $314,100 per year. Eligible for commission and potential equity.
