Join Google’s Core Labs, a dedicated center for zero-to-one capability building and breakthrough innovation. As Senior Director, you will drive large‑step product innovations that reshape how Google operates, influence product decisions across the Alphabet, and champion the integration of AI throughout Google’s flagship products.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
15+ years of product management experience at a technology‑driven company, including zero‑to‑one product development and founding or incubating technical initiatives.
Expertise in setting product outlook, road‑mapping, and launching products at scale.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working with stakeholders to achieve consensus through principled methodologies and tangible outcomes.
Expertise in applied AI within an enterprise context.
Strong organizational leadership and ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate with, and influence cross‑product and cross‑organization teams.
Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a high‑performing team of product managers, UX designers, and researchers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
Develop a product outlook and roadmap for AI products across Google, including AI agents for key user groups, infrastructure deployment, and Google’s agentic ecosystem.
Collect feedback, understand use cases, and rapidly test and iterate. Use data to influence product development across the company and own the narrative of how Google uses AI for productivity and efficiency.
Coordinate outbound efforts across product areas by building relationships, partnering, and influencing product area leads and their teams across Google.
Lead a small team with outsized impact, shaping product roadmaps across Core and the broader organization.
US base salary range: $320,000‑$445,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Compensation details above reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
