Our client is a well‑established, highly profitable lower‑middle‑market mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering and design services business supporting the commercial and residential construction services sector. The company is backed by a leading private equity sponsor that plans to drive significant acquisitive and organic growth initiatives, expanding its operational footprint across the Southeast.
The Chief Financial Officer will strategically partner with the CEO and investors to drive ambitious growth, building out processes and adopting data‑driven decision‑making through upgraded KPIs and reporting capabilities. The CFO will lead a lean, high‑performance finance and accounting function with a hands‑on approach focused on KPI and reporting upgrades.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading a growth‑focused engineering and construction services platform with a strategic, analytical and operational mindset. The role requires a strong understanding of percentage‑of‑completion accounting and a strategic/coach management style. Preference will be given to individuals with experience driving M&A growth strategies and leading ERP implementations.
Compensation includes a rewarding base and bonus package, along with long‑term equity incentives.
