is seeking to recruit a full-time
Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded and long-standing Behavioral Health program at Samaritan Hospital. Enjoy excellent colleagues, strong system practice support and a physician friendly environment.
Samaritan Hospital, located in Troy, NY , offers a comprehensive program in behavioral health that includes inpatient services across three units and a robust outpatient program located on the hospital campus. An interdisciplinary team provides specialized care to meet the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of the older adult patient.
This opportunity is available for immediate placement and will join a team of counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, and nurse practitioners in providing compassionate care to our patients.
Responsibilities
The Psychiatrist will provide outpatient coverage for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic
Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry;
Experience in an outpatient setting is also preferred;
DEA Licensure/NYS licensure required;
Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented;
New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Recruitment Package - St. Peter’s Health Partners
Competitive base salary including starting bonus;
Compensation is between $310,000 and $340,000
The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
Paid time away from the practice;
Two-part retirement savings program with employer matching program;
Relocation assistance is available.
