UnityPoint Health is actively recruiting for a Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Stoughton, WI. At UnityPoint Clinic, we are a physician‑led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive primary care, walk‑in care, and specialty care.
Overview Full‑time position, 1.0 FTE (36 patient contact hours per week + administrative time). Average 17‑20 patients per day; no nights or weekends. Extended clinic hours 7 AM‑5:30 PM. 24/7 hospitalist program responsible for adult patients. Fully integrated EPIC EMR system.
Responsibilities
Average 17‑20 patients per day; no nights or weekends (Extended clinic hours 7 AM‑5:30 PM)
1.0 FTE = 36 patient contact hours per week + administrative time
Shared call amongst the providers; Phone call only - triaged through MyNurse line
Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
General procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, etc.
Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
Patient‑focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem‑solving skills
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Eligible or Board Certified in FM
Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Wisconsin
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
Eligible to work in the United States (H1‑B cap exempt)
