Description Medical City Arlington Registered Nurse - NICU SEASONAL PRN Guidelines for Seasonal RN & Clinical Tech Staffing Program runs from September 21, 2025 to April 4, 202662.00 HRPROGRAM REQUIREMENTS · All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period. · Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need. · Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period. · During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee). · Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital. · Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy. · Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD) · Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation. · Current employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2025-26. · Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program. · Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department. Job Summary and Qualifications The NICU Registered Nurse delivers professional nursing care to all patients in NICU. You will perform assessment and acuity assignment; follows standard of care utilizing Nursing Process in delivery of care; maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions. Daily assignment of an RN may include supervision of other nursing personnel and/or students. Function as a preceptor and ability to function as a charge nurse. The employee performs all services as they may relate to patient care/treatment with consideration for age/condition of patient. What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• 1+ year in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Required
• 2+ Years in an Acute Care NICU preferred
