Private Equity Associate - Atlanta

We are partnering with a middle-market private equity firm seeking to add a Private Equity Associate to its Atlanta-based investment team.

The firm is a generalist investor that partners with founder- and family-owned businesses across a range of industries. The team operates with a hands-on, execution-oriented culture, providing Associates with meaningful responsibility and exposure across the full investment life-cycle from initial evaluation through exit.

This role offers direct involvement in transaction execution, due diligence, financial analysis, and ongoing portfolio company support.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
• Lead and coordinate diligence work-streams alongside advisors and management teams
• Prepare investment committee materials and presentations
• Assist with portfolio company monitoring and value creation initiatives

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in private equity or investment banking
• Strong transaction and deal execution experience
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills
• Ability to independently evaluate and discuss investment opportunities
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
