Job Title: Production Coordinator
Reports To: Game Day Presentation Manager Overview: The Production Coordinator is responsible for the administration, planning, budgeting, technical equipment/knowledge, and execution of production services and labor across all Zawyer Sports & Entertainment markets. This role ensures the highest level of production quality for all events while maintaining efficient operational and personnel management. Key Responsibilities:
Reports To: Game Day Presentation Manager Overview: The Production Coordinator is responsible for the administration, planning, budgeting, technical equipment/knowledge, and execution of production services and labor across all Zawyer Sports & Entertainment markets. This role ensures the highest level of production quality for all events while maintaining efficient operational and personnel management. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and advance all production aspects of venue events and activities.
- Create estimates and invoices for clients.
- Pre-loading of content for in-game presentations and live events.
- Serve as Technical Direction for Jacksonville Icemen Home Games.
- Supervise local crew members during event setup, execution, and teardown.
- Work events that are scheduled by clients, outside of Icemen Home Games.
- Maintain organized records and files of current and past projects, productions, and events.
- Overseeing All Production Staff in each market and additional markets are teams are added
- Travel to new & existing markets for site-visits, training and game days.
- Help create and implement production-related policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular staff meetings as a key member of the management team.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal departments and external partners.
- Other duties as assigned
- Researching and purchasing equipment for in-game production.
- Oversee maintenance needs in control rooms as needed.
- Supervise local crew members during event setup, execution, and teardown.
- Build and sustain relationships with vendors and production service providers.
- Knowledge of Ross, Newtek, and other broadcast and professional production systems.
- Able to operate and direct the production switcher
- Operate PTZ's to help elevate and enhance videoboard/arena productions
- Operate Daktronics Show Control on occasions
- Keep and maintain the Daktronics system and work with IT/Engineering departments regarding any issues
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere
- Create scorebugs, replay wipes, and occasional various graphic designs for clients
- Work with local television providers for select gamedays
- This included coordinating with radio broadcasters and contacting TV's master control for commercial breaks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Travel requirement up to 25%.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in event production.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience managing and leading teams.
- Working knowledge of DAK Systems, Mira Replay System, switcher, 3play Tagboard, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
