  • Convert customer drawings and specifications into manufacturable designs and production-ready models

  • Create packaging and support drawings to assist downstream production and shipping

  • Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and safe to manufacture

  • Support implementation of designs into CNC processes (wire cutters, foam cutters, routers); training available as needed

  • Participate in quality reviews and inspections to ensure parts meet specifications

  • Assist engineering leadership with estimating labor, materials, and setup considerations related to mold and tooling work

  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, efficiency, and output

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality, and maintenance

  • Maintain organized workspaces and follow all safety standards and company policies

  • Operate basic shop equipment and material handling equipment as required

Required Skills & Experience

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience

  • Background in steel fabrication, tooling, or custom manufacturing environments

  • Exposure to CNC equipment or automated cutting systems

  • Welding or hands-on fabrication experience

  • Experience supporting production efficiency or continuous improvement initiatives

Performance Expectations

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Quality and accuracy of designs released to production

  • Contribution to improved efficiency and throughput

  • Responsiveness to production and quality needs

  • Adherence to safety standards and attendance expectations

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
